Did not enjoy listening to toilet flushing every 5-10 minutes. Had to shut valve off going to toilet. Room #217

I appreciated being there, the place is high-class and absolutely great.
It was fairly clean and the staff were very amiable and professional, beds were comfortable. The location was comfortable and ideal, just next door to Athens for a couple of days, shopping centers, and the UGA stadium and easily accessible. It also was close to Restaurants.

I liked the quiet surroundings and hospitality of the staff. I had a room with a double bed and it was nice and clean. The price was right for the stay.
The reception for use of a cell phone was very poor, had to go outside to get a better one, to many drop calls. I did not like the room with a single bed, the ones with the double beds were better. No resturants in sight, had to go at least a mile or better to one. All of the T.V.s were older models and should be changed to newer flat screen models, this is 2012 and not 1985.

It was cheap yet avoided the motel six/ red roof odor that gives me headaches. Mostly clean.
Heater in room didn't get repaired after we requested. Awkward step down getting out of tub/shower. Really sloppy remodeling of room: swatch on bed replaces bedspread, cushions on wall near window seem new yet have strands of raw fabric dangling, switch at door doesn't turn on any lights. Moldy corners in bathroom.

Clean rooms on the lower level with easy access. Small hotel vibe allows for a comfier atmosphere, along with decent location suited for travelers needing quick access to local sites.
Check-in took longer than expected with only one attendant behind a closed door. The bathroom had maintenance issues, specifically in the shower where the drain was clogged. Even though the hotel offers free breakfast, options were limited to coffee with packets of grits, leaving one scratching their head about meal preparation. The lack of amenities and only one towel for bathing left something to be desired.

The price and the location was great! They offered free wireless access however, the story ended up a little different. (See next question)
The wireless access was very low, then it did not work at all. I was in room 103, due to low wireless access, the clerk moved me to another room; 110, however, still no change. So that was disappointing, because I needed it for business purposes. Please tell them to get that fixed!

Although we were advised that this hotel was strictly non smoking, the only available room was a smoking room. Bedding looked not very clean, the pillows themselves had brown dirt marks all over. Tv did only have a few channels available, the air conditioning unit was so noisy, you could not have it on for more than a few minutes.

The location was perfect, close to awesome golf spots and restaurants. Enjoyed some fun nights at nearby concerts while also being close to the University of Georgia. A solid choice for groups looking to experience the area.
We did have an issue with the air conditioning. It blew a fuse a couple of times. This made things a bit uncomfortable, but we managed to sort it out eventually.

The hotel did not have any record of our reservation made through Booked.net. Fortunately did have rooms available anyway. Carpet dirty looking. Unfortunately, smoking in the hotel causes an odor that lingers throughout.

the price was reasonable for the area, and it was only a short walk to both carrabba's italian grill and the beautiful georgia museum of art, making it a perfect base for exploring the city during my weekend getaway.
